“ The food was exceptional, perfect for a quick bite. You can truly taste the difference in quality with their farm raised, locally sourced ingredients. We ordered the avocado toast with salmon, the bison breakfast, and a parfait. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The bison was cooked perfectly and the avocado toast had that perfect balance of creamy and savory with the added richness of the smoked salmon. Even the parfait felt fresh and satisfying. The coffee was also on point. I had it black smooth, bold, and not bitter while my wife ordered a latte that she absolutely loved. Creamy, well balanced, and a nice touch of artistry in the foam. Service was another highlight. Our server, Levi was friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. He even gave us great tips for local tours and activities which added even more value to our experience. The only minor downside was the bathrooms. They’re shared with the hotel and located in the lobby. They weren’t the cleanest at the time we visited but they were usable and didn’t take away from the overall experience. Overall, Farm & Fire is a gem in Banff. Whether you’re a guest at the hotel or just looking for a quality breakfast spot in town, this place is 100 percent worth a visit. ”
Chris Norris“ We visited this place with friends and were very pleased! We ordered breakfast, brunch, and two lunches — everything was served very quickly, within about 15 minutes after we were seated. The service was excellent: the staff were friendly, attentive, and always smiling, which made the experience even better. The food exceeded our expectations — everything was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Everyone in our group really enjoyed their meals, and we were left with nothing but positive impressions. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The only minor issue we encountered was with parking. We had to search for a spot and ended up parking a bit further from the entrance. However, this didn’t spoil the experience — everything else was truly great. Highly recommend this place for a tasty start to your day or a relaxing lunch. Thank you to the team for such a wonderful experience! ”
Ruvim Zinkovich“ This was our last day in Banff, and we came to town to get some lunch. It was raining outside, so we didn't spend a lot of time searching for a lunch spot. The bus dropped us right outside of the Farm Fire, so we checked it out. It's inside/adjacent to the Elm + Avenue Hotel. Lot of big windows and a spacious dining area. We put our name on a list, but only had to wait 15 minutes. It was late morning and the dining room was already full. We had a group of 4. Got settled in right away with waters, and menus. After putting in for our beverages we were able to order right away. Our service was a friendly young man, and did a very nice job of taking care of us. I ordered the avocado toast with poached eggs and some braised bison. My partner got the burger. We also ordered a side of the roasted chicken. For being so busy, it didn't take that long to get our food. Everything was hot, and good portions. My avocado toast was just okay. I expected the bison meat to be more flavorful. The roasted chicken was amazingly good, and very moist. The smashburger was also a hit. Nice place for a lunch. Could be a bit noisy at times, but you could still have a reasonable conversation. ”
Scott W“ We popped in here for brunch over the May 24 weekend and were surprised how busy it was! Thankfully we had a reservation and were quickly seated. Our sever was bubbly and we liked her energy. To drink we each had a Caesar followed by a Lavender Collins and Passionfruit Sour. The Sour stands out as one of the best cocktails I had during this foodie adventure! For mains we tried the Avocado Toast and Lox Bowl. Both were outstanding. I subbed the Mini Hashbrown Patties for potatoes and it was worth the $3 upgrade. Lively atmosphere and suspect a great place for all meals! ”
Candace Campbell“ We were in Banff for two days and ended up coming to Farm & Fire both mornings - it became our favorite breakfast spot! It’s right on Banff Avenue, super close to majority of hotels & inns so the location is pretty convenient. The food was honestly way better than I expected—so fresh and full of flavor. There were four of us, and two are vegetarians - they had great options for them too, including a vegan omelet. The vibe was cozy but modern, and the service was great each time. If I am ever back in Banff, I’d definitely go again. Solid 5/5 from me! ”
Arveen Kaur Alang“ We went there about a week ago. It was our first dining at Banff. As walk in customers, they were very efficient in getting us a seat though it was peak hour for dining. The service staff, Sarah, is a gem. She recommended the food to us and cheered us up with her lovely smile and warm greetings. With such great hospitality from Sarah. She uplifted our mood and we had great food and drinks there during the evening. We highly recommend this place, it has great vibes and people there seemed to enjoy their dining experience as much as we do! ”
Han Emily“ Attached to the Elk & Lodge it was easy to get to for us. Great artisinal eats crafted with passion. While the outside atmosphere is nice it can get hot with limited shade & noisy with the waiting tour buses. Prices seems reasonable for the quality. The smaller menu has a good amount of depth. Customer service was amazing. ”
Harold PK“ Lucked out with an evening reservation! Despite it being jam packed, the staff were attentive and mindful of my allergies and flagged any and all risks. The wedge salad and the croquettes were bangers. Brie n Fig and Brisket pizzas, about 10“ or so, were great gluten free choices and delicious. The entrees are ideally family style so, we shared roast chicken which was juicy and unctuous in some parts but dry in others. The mash potatoes were ok. Desserts leaned sweet and felt rather like an afterthought. Overall, however, a pleasant dining experience. ”
